Bundesliga: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 18 clubs (June 2022)

The 18 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Bundesliga season have more than 152 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/06/2022. The Bundesliga, which has an average of nearly 8.5 million fans per club, is the least followed league among the European Top 5 on these three social networks combined.

FC Bayern Munich remain the most-popular German club with more than 93 million fans, far ahead of Borussia Dortmund with over 35 million. Bayer 04 Leverkusen complete the podium with 5.2 million followers.

Bayern was the club that posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of May with an additional 728,350 fans, 59% of which (+431,059 followers) were on Instagram alone.

Eintracht Frankfurt, winners of the 2021-22 Europa League on 18/05/2022, posted the best percentage growth among the Bundesliga clubs on each of the three social networks: +16.1% on Instagram, +5.3% on Facebook and +4.4% on Twitter.
