esports: Kia (car manufacturer), official supplier of the LFL's Summer Split 2022

Kia, a South Korean car manufacturer, will become an official supplier of the French League of Legends (published by Riot Games) in 2022, announced Webedia, organiser of the LFL, on 01/06/2022.

This partnership concerns the LFL's Summer Split 2022 (i.e. the second part of the season) which starts on the same day for the 10 participating teams. CIC (banking), Aldi (supermarkets), KitKat (confectionery), Intel Corporation (IT) and Samsung (fantasy league) are the other partners of the competition.

Kia Motors has been an official partner of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) since 2019, making the South Korean group "the longest-running partner" of the competition. Kia has also entered into partnerships with esports teams, notably as title sponsor of Kia DMW (KOR, since 2021) and as an official partner of Rogue (GBR, 2020-2021). In France, the group entered into a partnership with Solary (in 2020) as well as a collaboration with Team Vitality to deploy a pan-European digital campaign between July and September 2021.
