Forbes: Real Madrid, most valuable football club ($5.1bn) in 2022 ahead of Barça & Manchester United

With an estimated valuation of $5.1bn (€4.7bn, excluding real estate), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the "World's Most Valuable Soccer Team" in 2022, according to the ranking published by the US business magazine Forbes on 26/05/2022.

The Madrid club's valuation has increased by 7% compared to 2021, mainly due to their 35^th Spanish league title and participation in the 2021-22 Champions League final (1-0 victory over Liverpool FC on 28/05/2022), which will allow them to generate over $100m (€93m). This puts Real ahead of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander), who topped the table in 2021, valued at $5bn (€4.6bn; +6%). Manchester United FC (Premier League), with an estimated valuation of $4.6bn (€4.2bn; +10%), complete the podium.
