Africa: Cameroon will host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations; Ivory Coast in 2021; Guinea in 2023

Cameroon will host the CAN (the Africa Cup of Nations) in 2019, the CAF (the Confederation of African Football) announced on 20/09/2014. The Ivory Coast will host the 2021 tournament, whilst Guinea will host the 2023 edition.

Algeria and Zambia were also candidates to host one of these tournaments.

Libya withdrew its bid to organise the Africa Cup of Nations 2017, citing the country's "unstable security situation," on 23/08/2014. The 54 federations affiliated with CAF have until 30/09/2014 to submit applications to host the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 30^th CAN will take place in Morocco from 17/01 to 07/02/20015.

• The designation of the host country for the 2017 African Cup of Nations will take place in a CAF executive committee meeting in 2015, said the CAF on 23/08/2014.
