Roland-Garros: beIN Media Group renews broadcasting rights in the MENA region until 2026

The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group has renewed its broadcasting rights in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) until 2026, announced the French Tennis Federation (FFT) on 07/06/2022.

The agreement covers 24 countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

beIN Sports, which has been the official broadcaster of Roland-Garros for over 15 years in the Middle East and North Africa, also holds the rights to broadcast the Paris Grand Slam in South East Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, East Timor, the Philippines and Singapore) over the 2022-2026 cycle.

  • The 2022 edition of Roland-Garros was broadcast in 223 territories, according to the FFT.
