esports: FC Lorient, eLigue 1 champions for the second consecutive year

FC Lorient has won its second consecutive French eLigue 1 title in 2022 on the FIFA 22 game (published by EA Sports), announced the club on 04/06/2022. The team, represented by Leandro "LJRPeixoto" Peixoto and Julien "Fouma" Perbal, beat Olympique de Marseille 4-1.

Prior to the match Leandro Peixoto and Julien Perbal, from the esports club Atlantide Wave, won the title of best eLigue duo at the eLigue1 Awards, for the 2022 season. FC Lorient, who announced their partnership with Antlantide Wave on 24/02/2022, will play in the FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs, which take place from 01 to 03/07/2022, in order to qualify for the FIFA eWorld Cup, which will be held from 14 to 17/07/2022.
