Serie A TIM: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts of the 20 clubs (June 2022)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2021-22 Serie A TIM season total more than 238 million fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/06/2022. The Serie A TIM is the third most followed European Top 5 league on these three social networks combined, behind the Premier League (nearly 651 million fans) and LaLiga Santander (nearly 593 million), with an average of 11.9 million fans per club.

With more than 107 million fans across the three social networks, Juventus FC are the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (46.5 million) and FC Inter Milan (40.7 million).

The 2021-22 Serie A TIM champions, AC Milan, posted the best growth in absolute value during the month of May 2022 with a total of 924,679 additional followers, half of which were on Instagram alone.

US Salernitana 1919, promoted to the Italian top flight for the 2021-22 season, posted the best percentage growth among the Serie A TIM clubs on each of the three social networks: +12.9% on Instagram, +9.1% on Twitter and +3.6% on Facebook.
