OL Groupe: club confirms discussions with several candidates to purchase Pathé/IDG Capital's shares

OL Groupe reacted to information published earlier today on RMC Sport and the L'Equipe website, which mentioned the arrival of a new majority shareholder in the form of the American Foster Gillett. Gillett is said to be considering buying the shares put up for sale by French group Pathé (film production and distribution, cinema operation) and Chinese investment fund IDG Capital (39% of OL Groupe's capital between them), as well as those of Holnest (27.56%), Jean-Michel Aulas' family holding company, for a total of around €600m. The current OL president would retain his position at the head of the club for three seasons, according to the French sports daily L'Equipe.
