"We weren't prepared for such an influx of delinquents (around the Stade de France on 28/05/2022). There was some unusual behaviour, people came in through restaurants, others broke the gate of a school to get in, others went through the construction site of a footbridge," said Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional affairs for the FFF, before the French Senate, on 09/06/2022.

Erwan Le Prévost was part of the French Football Federation delegation, along with Philippe Diallo, deputy vice-president, Florence Hardouin, general manager, and Didier Pinteaux, head of security, questioned by the Senate's Committee on Culture, Education and Communication and by the Committee on Constitutional Law, Legislation, Universal Suffrage, Regulations and General Administration. Also present at the Senate was Steve Rotherham, Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, who was present at the Stade de France on the day of the final, and who himself, was pick-pocketed in its vicinity.
