"Our revenue (SR497m/€112m in 2020-21) comes mainly from the government. This is a fixed amount for each team. There is also an significant amount that comes from sponsors, our main shirt sponsor Emaar (a real estate company based in Dubai, UAE) in particular. We also get matchday revenues, but they are a much more modest part of our budget," said Abdullah Al Jarboua, CEO of Al Hilal Saudi Club (Saudi Pro League), to News Tank Football on 01/04/2022.

"Al Hilal is a very famous and popular club, not only in the Middle East. We participated in the FIFA Club World Cup for the second time in 2021 (the first time in 2019).
