L'Équipe: channel posts record weekend (4% audience share) with 24 hours of Le Mans + Nations League

The French free DTT channel La chaine L'Équipe has recorded the best weekend in its history with an audience share of 4% (6.3% among men aged 25-49) on 11 and 12/06/2022, ranking first among DTT channels and fifth nationally over the two days, according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the channel on 13/06/2022.

The channel posted 9.1 million viewers for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with an audience share of 4.2% (leader among DTT channels) on Saturday 11/06/2022. 950,000 viewers watched the start of the race (11/06/2022 at 16:00 CET), and 1.1 million followed the finish (audience share: 12%), ranking L'Équipe second in France. It was also the leading DTT channel for the entire race.

The 2022-23 Nations League multiplex drew an average of 794,000 viewers, representing an audience share of 4.7% and ranked the channel as the number one DTT channel in the time slot on Saturday 11/06/2022 (from 20:40 to 22:45 CET).
