Poland/Ekstraklasa: call for tenders for 2023-2027 TV rights with flexible scheduling

The call for tenders for the national broadcasting rights to the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa (polish first division) matches for the 2023-2027 cycle, launched by the Polish league Ekstraklasa S.A., includes several novelties and allows broadcasters to schedule matches more flexibly than in previous seasons, according to the league on 10/06/2022. The call for tenders,  initiated on 16/05/2022, is due to close at the end of June.

"For the first time, the league has offered broadcasters different scheduling options. As well as the current system of playing each match at a different time (Friday to Monday), there is also an option of a multiplex on Sunday. Additionally, the Ekstraklasa has designed a number of solutions for digital broadcasting, with short-term content broadcast on the internet," explained the Polish league.
