Spain/RFEF: agreement on bonuses and image rights between Luis Rubiales & the women's national team

Bonuses for Spanish female players equal in percentage to those received by male players, standardised and increased image rights, a percentage of future sponsorship contracts and improved working conditions for the women's football team, are the measures contained in the agreement signed by Luis Rubiales, president of the RFEF, and the representatives of the Spanish women's national team at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, near Madrid (ESP) on 14/06/2022.

This agreement is applicable from the 2022 Women's Euro in England and runs until 2027. "This is an important day. The agreement we are signing today is leading the way in the world of football. It is valid for five years and will hopefully last until the next Women's World Cup (Australia & New Zealand 2023), the Women's Euro 2025 and even, if possible, to the Olympic Games (Los Angeles 2028)," said Luis Rubiales.
