OGC Nice: a charity match combining football and rugby at the Allianz Riviera (Nice) on 26/06/2022

The Allianz Riviera (Nice, FRA) will host the third edition of a legends match known as "Le Choc" on 26/09/2022 (kick-off at 19:00 CET), announced OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) on 09/06/2022. The funds raised will be donated to the "1 sourire 1 espoir pour la vie" (1 smile 1 hope for life) charity, which helps sick children.

"This charity match, organised by former goalkeeper Pascal Olmeta, will bring together stars of the round ball and the oval ball for a match that will mix the two disciplines. The programme will include one half of football and one half of rugby," said the Nice club. Among those present will be: Didier Deschamps, José Cobos, Sébastien Squilacci, Frédéric Dehu, Sébastien Frey (football) and Jeff Tordo (rugby).

Tickets are available via the Allianz Riveira's online ticketing service at prices ranging from €8 to €35. The City of Nice has also lent its support to the event by making the Allianz Riviera available free of charge, as well as by financing a communication plan to the tune of €130,000.
