Liga Portugal Bwin: Betano (sports betting), main shirt sponsor of FC Porto (2022-2026)

Betano, a sports betting operator belonging to the Greek group Kaizen Gaming, has extended its partnership with FC Porto (Liga Portugal Bwin) and become its main shirt sponsor for "at least" four seasons (2022-2026), announced the club on 15/06/2022.

Betano had initially become the official betting partner (second level) of FC Porto as well as the main shirt sponsor of its handball team for the 2021-22 season on 14/09/2021. As part of the new agreement, the betting operator will be displayed on the front of FC Porto's first and reserve team shirts and will continue its commitment to the handball team.

Betano succeeds the telecommunications operator MEO (a brand belonging to Portugal Telecom, owned by the Dutch holding company Altice), which had become the main shirt sponsor of the Portuguese club, initially for the 2018-2023 cycle, as part of a global agreement signed with Portugal Telecom on 27/12/2015.
