FC Barcelona: delegate members agree to sell part of Barça Licensing & Merchandising and TV rights

Asked to vote electronically on two major economic projects by the club's management, the delegate members of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) voted in favour of both the sale of part of the capital - capped at 49.95% - of Barça Licensing & Merchandising, the club's subsidiary dedicated to the development of its merchandising products (physical shops, online sales and licensed products), and of a maximum of 25% of its LaLiga TV rights on 16/06/2022. The two motions received 87.9% and 86.8% of the votes in favour respectively.

Heavily in debt, Barça are looking to attract investors quickly through this double operation, which could bring in a total of around €600m, a target they have set themselves.
