2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats: champions Paris Saint-Germain to start versus Clermont Foot 63

Paris Saint-Germain, the 2021-22 French champions, will play their first game of the 2022-23 Ligue 1 Uber Eats season versus Clermont Foot 63 at the Stade Gabriel-Montpied (10,545 capacity), according to the LFP, which published the full calendar for the season on 17/06/2022 (document available to download). The exact dates for the fixtures on Matchday 1 have not yet been decided, but will be played between 05-07/08/2022.

The 2022-23 season will be the first to be interrupted by a World Cup, which has been rescheduled for November-December (from Monday 21/11 to Sunday 18/12/2022) for climatic reasons, in Qatar. The last matchday of the French championship before this major world event will take place on the weekend of 11-13/11/2022 and Ligue 1 will resume the week of 26/12/2022, in a format to be communicated "at a later date."
