Ligue 2 BKT: Jean-Michel Roussier appointed president of Le Havre AC by owner Vincent Volpe

Jean-Michel Roussier has been appointed president of Le Havre AC (Ligue 2 BKT) with immediate effect, announced the club on 20/06/2022. He succeeds American Vincent Volpe, owner of the French club and its president since its takeover in July 2015, who decided to carry out a major reorganisation (see below) due to the "insufficient sporting results" recorded over the last seven seasons by the club, which has been unable to be promoted back to the Ligue 1 (Le Havre were relegated to Ligue 2 at the end of the 2008-09 season).

Le Havre AC is the third French professional club for which Jean-Michel Roussier has served as president after Olympique de Marseille (1995-1999) and AS Nancy-Lorraine (2018-2020). Roussier also held the position of deputy director of broadcasting and programming for Téléfoot when Mediapro still held the rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats.
