DAZN Italy: "It is the end of the promotion, the price set at the beginning has to apply" (S. Azzi)

"When there are changes, it always inevitably causes a stir. But it had to be explained that this was the end of the standard subscription promotion and therefore the price set at the beginning had to apply," said Stefano Azzi, CEO for the OTT platform DAZN Italy, to the Italian agency AGI on 21/06/2022.

During the 2021-22 season, the streaming platform offered a package at €29.99 per month, reduced to €19.99 in the first year for those subscribing on or before July 2021.

From the 2022-23 season, two subscription rates will be available on DAZN in Italy. The "DAZN Standard" subscription will be offered at €29.99 per month, with the possibility to register two devices on the same account, and to follow sports events simultaneously on two devices, on the same Wifi network only. The "DAZN Plus" subscription will be offered at €39.99 per month, and it will be possible to register up to six devices and watch sports events on two devices simultaneously, even on different networks.
