Women's Cup 2022: Spring Media acquires broadcasting rights in Europe and sub-Saharan Africa

Spring Media has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights for Europe and sub-Saharan Africa to the Women's Cup 2022 (a summer tournament between clubs from around the world held in the USA), announced the Swedish media rights agency on 22/06/2022.

The Women's Cup, which will take place from 14 to 20/08/2022 in Louisville (Kentucky, USA), will bring together a total of six clubs, including four overseas clubs: Racing Louisville (USA), OL Reign (USA), Tokyo Verdy Beleza (JPN), Club América (MEX), AC Milan (ITA) and Tottenham Hotspur FC (ENG). This is the second edition of the Women's Cup after the 2021 edition won by Racing Louisville.

"The four overseas teams will feature in the quarter final stages, and winners go on to face Racing Louisville and OL Reign, respectively, in the semifinals. A fifth-place feat, a bronze medal matchup and the sought-after final will eventually round up the tournament schedule," explained Spring Media.
