Bundesliga: Comedy Central (TV channel), sleeve sponsor of Union Berlin for two years (2022-2024)

Comedy Central, a television channel available in Germany and owned by the US conglomerate Paramount, has extended its partnership with 1. FC Union Berlin (Bundesliga) for two additional seasons (2022-24), announced the German club on 21/06/2022.

Comedy Central will become the sleeve sponsor of Union Berlin in the German league for 2022-23 and 2023-24 after having been displayed in this sponsorship space in the DFB-Pokal and Europa Conference League during the 2021-22 season.

The American chain succeeds Wefox (insurance), the club's sleeve sponsor since 2019-20 (€700,000 per season), which will now be displayed as a main shirt sponsor for 2022-2025. Aroundtown (real estate), Union Berlin's main shirt sponsor for the 2019-2022 cycle (€2.25m per season), will occupy the sleeve sponsorship space in the DFL-Pokal and Europa League for 2022-23.

• Aroundtown had succeeded the German company Layenberger Nutrition Group as shirt sponsor of Union Berlin for the 2016-2019 cycle (agreement of 25/04/2016).
