Netherlands: Ziggo Sport (pay-TV) extends LaLiga Santander TV rights until 2028-29

Ziggo Sport has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to LaLiga Santander in the Netherlands until 2028-29, announced the Dutch pay-TV group on 23/06/2022. Ziggo Sport had previously extended these rights, for the 2021-2024 cycle, on 06/08/2020.

"The extension concerns the rights to broadcast matches live and in summary on television, the internet and via social media. The Spanish topflight, which has a decades-long connection with Dutch top trainers and football players, can be followed weekly via Ziggo Sport, the free channel for all digital Ziggo subscribers and via the Ziggo Sport Totaal pay-TV package, which is available from all distributors in the Netherlands," explained the Spanish league.

Ziggo Sport holds the exclusive, full broadcasting rights to the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, LaLiga Santander, Serie A TIM and the Champions League, for the Netherlands, over the 2021-2024 cycle.
