Media/Tech: Bain Capital and Nextalia to acquire Deltatre for between $700m and $900m

American investment fund Bain Capital and Italian asset management company Nextalia SGR are acquiring Italian company Deltatre, specialised in digital solutions for sports broadcasters and event organisers, from the American sports investment fund Bruin Sports Capital, announced Bain Capital on 23/06/2022. The acquisition is estimated to be worth between $700m and $900m (€663m and €858m), according to US website Yahoo.

"Deltatre's clients include some of the largest sports organizations in the world, including UEFA, NFL, MLB and MLS. With a presence in 14 countries, Deltatre operates globally and enables rights owners, media companies, broadcasters, telcos, content creators, distributors and other brands to create and deliver compelling solutions at scale to consumers and fans," said Bain Capital.

Bruin Sports Capital acquired Deltatre for an estimated $160m (€144.1m) on 30/06/2016.
