Serie A TIM: 2022-23 calendar published, champions AC Milan to face Udinese Calcio on Matchday 1

AC Milan, the 2021-22 Italian champions, begin their 2022-23 Serie A TIM campaign versus Udinese Calcio (12^th in 2021-22) on Matchday 1, which will be played over the weekend of 13-14/08/2022, according to the Italian league, which published the match schedule for the 380 matches of the new season, on 24/06/2022 (see below).

FC Inter Milan, second in 2021-22 and Italian champions in 2020-21, start away from home versus 2021-22 Serie BKT champions US Lecce. Inter and AC Milan will face each other for the first time on Matchday 5 of the Serie A TIM on 04/09/2022.

Details of the times and days for each matchday have not yet been communicated by the Lega Serie A nor its broadcasters.

In the 2022-23 season, for the first time ever, the World Cup will take place during the winter period in Qatar from Monday 21/11 to Sunday 18/12/2022. As such, no Serie A TIM matches will take place during this period (i.e. for 52 days). The last matchday of the Serie A TIM before the 2022 World Cup will take place on 13/11 and the Italian championship will resume on 04/01/2023.
