Ligue 1 Uber Eats: Umbro succeeds Kappa as equipment supplier of FC Lorient for 2022-2025

Umbro, a brand distributed in France by the Royer Group, has become the official equipment supplier of FC Lorient (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) for three seasons (2022-2025), announced the Breton club on 24/06/2022.

As part of the agreement, the brand will provide "technical match, training and away products for players and technical staff, as well as sportswear products for supporters."

"FC Lorient and Umbro will collaborate to design a global strategy to promote mutual growth by developing tailor-made shirts that reflect the culture and territorial roots of FCL. This partnership will therefore contribute to strengthening the community dimension around the club, bringing together its supporters at a local and national level," said the club, which generated €2.86m in sponsorship revenue in 2020-21.

Umbro will succeed Kappa, FC Lorient's equipment supplier for the 2017-2022 cycle after having replaced adidas (2014-2017). Umbro has thus signed a second equipment supplier contract in the French championship, as the brand also supplies Stade de Reims' kits over the 2019-2024 cycle.
