Newcastle United FC: noon.com (e-commerce) succeeds Kayak as sleeve sponsor for 2022-23

The Saudi-based e-commerce platform noon.com has become a sleeve sponsor of Newcastle United FC (Premier League) for the 2022-23 season, announced the club on 27/06/2022.

"The partnership will provide the club with new ways to engage with fans in the Middle East, with supporters in the region able to pre-order all 2022-23 Newcastle United kits on noon.com with the option of personalisation. The noon.com brand will be displayed on all team kits for the upcoming season, as well as having a presence on matchdays at St. James' Park (52,404 capacity) and across the club's digital assets," said the club, which generated £17.58m (€20.4m) in commercial revenue in 2020-21.

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), which acquired 100% of the English club on 07/10/2021, is one of noon.com's main investors. The platform succeeds the travel price comparison company Kayak (USA), Newcastle's sleeve sponsor in 2021-22.

• While the amount of the deal is not known, the English club was seeking £7.5m (€8.7m) per season from its sleeve sponsor, according to specialised media the same day.
