Sportall: new fundraising of €2.9m; €4.5m raised since the platform was founded in 2019

The French OTT sports platform Sportall has completed a new fundraising round of €2.9m, "led by the company Trois I Investissements Industriels Internationaux, the platform's main shareholder," announced Sportall on 28/06/2022.

"The majority of the existing shareholders have also followed in this new round of financing. New private investors are now joining Sportall, including private equity advisory and co-investment platform, Calista Direct Investors. The CEO and founder, Rajaa Mekouar, will represent the interests of her investor families on the Sportall board, including two European women entrepreneurs. The startup is also supported by the Banque Publique d'Investissement and Crédit Agricole, which granted seed loans at the beginning of the year," explained Sportall.

"Since its creation in 2019, Sportall has raised €4.5m in capital from private and industrial investors exclusively," added Sportall. In 2020, the platform had completed two fundraising operations for a total amount of €1.3m.
