Paris Saint-Germain: Qatar Airways succeeds Accor as main shirt sponsor (€60-70m/year)

Qatar Airways has extended its partnership with Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) to become the main shirt sponsor of all the club's teams from 01/07/2022, announced the airline upon the presentation of its Nike home shirt for the 2022-23 season, on 29/06/2022.

This multi-year agreement is estimated to be worth between €60m and €70m per year, according to the French sports daily L'Équipe.

Qatar Airways and Paris Saint-Germain, both owned by the Emirate of Qatar, have been partners since 01/02/2020. "The airline's visibility will also be stepped up in the Parc des Princes (47,929 capacity) with additional LED exposure and upgraded VIP hospitality experiences," explained the 2021-22 French champions.

The airline thus succeeds Accor, main shirt sponsor of Paris Saint-Germain via its lifestyle loyalty programme ALL ("Accor Live Limitless") during the 2019-2022 cycle, for an estimated annual amount between €46m and €56m.
