Serie A: Volkswagen becomes an official partner of ACF Fiorentina for 2014-15

German carmaker Volkswagen became an official partner of ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM) for the 2014-15 season, the club announced on 25/09/2014.

Volkswagen will be present on the advertising boards during matches at the Artemio Franchi stadium (capacity 47,300) and will use the club's image in Italy. Both parties wish to develop a common digital communication strategy around this partnership with the "W il Calcio" campaign.

ACF Fiorentina are looking for a main shirt sponsor for the 2014-15 season. The Japanese automaker Mazda was the shirt sponsor of the club in 2013-14. That contract was estimated at €3.6m per year (2011-12 to 2013-14). The club currently displays the Save the Children charity on its central shirt space for the beginning of the 2014-15 season.

  • Six other Serie A TIM clubs (AS Roma, SS Lazio, Genoa CFC , US Palermo, UC Sampdoria and AC Cesena) have no main shirt sponsor in 2014-15.
