ESTAC Troyes: new main shirt sponsor Winamax (2022-2024) unveiled in the metaverse

Winamax, a French sports betting operator, has become the main shirt sponsor of Espérance Sportive Troyes Aube Champagne (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) for two seasons (2022-2024), announced the club on 30/06/2022. The club unveiled its shirt for the 2022-23 season via an operation on the Roblox (metavers) platform. The agreement was negotiated by the marketing agency Sportfive.

"This shirt also marks a major event in the world of sport as it is the first French hybrid shirt, which can be worn in both the real and virtual worlds thanks to NFTs. The hybridization of these kits is possible thanks to a chip integrated into the shirt," said ESTAC.

Winamax succeeds the French housing constructor Maisons Babeau Seguin, partner of the club since 2009-10 and main shirt sponsor for the 2012-2022 cycle. In the Ligue 1 Uber Eats, the betting operator is also the main shirt sponsor (away shirt) of RC Strasbourg Alsace (2020-2023), back shirt sponsor of RC Lens (2021-2024), shorts sponsor of LOSC Lille (since 2018) and shorts sponsor of Stade de Reims (2021-2024).
