Italy: Sky Italia to broadcast the Champions League on the mobile and TV on-demand bouquet TIMvision

Sky Sport Plus, a channel of the Italian pay-TV group Sky Italia, is now available live and on-demand via the mobile TV bouquet TIMvision, announced Sky Italia and the telecommunications group Telecom Italia, owner of TIMvision, on 25/09/2014.

Sky Sport Plus is a channel fully dedicated to Champions League matches and the qualifying matches (excluding those of the Italian national team) for Euro 2016 (final tournament in France from 10/6 to 10/07/2016).

TIMvision, a live and on-demand mobile TV bouquet, is available on the 3G and 4G networks, smartphone, tablet and also for computers, via ADSL or Wi-Fi. To access Sky Sport Plus programs, users must download the TIMvision application and subscribe for €5 per month.

Sky Italia and Telecom Italia concluded, in November 2013, a partnership to develop and make accessible all Sky channels on IPTV -- digital television on the Internet -- by the beginning of 2015.
