LaLiga Santander: Taica (technology) renews as main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca for 2022-23

Taica Corporation, a Japanese technology company, has renewed as the main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca (LaLiga Santander) for one additional season (2022-23), announced the club on 01/07/2022.

Taica became the main shirt sponsor of the Mallorcan club for one season (2021-22) on 27/08/2021. This was the first international sponsorship agreement signed by the Japanese group. Taica will continue to feature, its αGEL brand, a technology dedicated to the reduction and damping of vibrations in sports shoes, helmets, watches, mobile phones, TVs, etc., on the front of the Spanish club's shirts.

Taica Corporation had succeeded British sports betting operator Betfred as main shirt sponsor of RCD Mallorca for the 2019-2021 cycle (€1.2m/season), following the ban on Spanish sports clubs promoting gambling operators on their shirts, effective from the 2021-22 season.
