Serie A: Orogel (frozen food) acquires the stadium naming rights of AC Cesena until 2024

Orogel, an Italian manufacturer of frozen foods, has acquired the stadium naming rights of AC Cesena (Serie A TIM), and christened the Orogel Stadium (capacity 23,800) for the match against AC Milan (1-1, Matchday 5 of the Serie A TIM), on 28/09/2014.

Orogel gets naming rights for ten seasons, until the end of the 2023-24 championship. Orogel has already paid a deposit of €1.2m to the club, without specifying the exact amount of the contract. The official name of the stadium, which is owned by the city of Cesena and was inaugurated in 1957, is Orogel Dino Manuzzi Stadium (named after the president of the club from 1964 to 1980).

This is the second naming contract in the Serie A TIM after Mapei Stadium (capacity 20,000) in Reggio Emilia; the stadium naming rights where US Sassuolo play have been held by the Mapei Group since 05/12/2013.
