esports: MCES opens its capital through a crowdfunding campaign with an €800,000 objective

The French esports structure MCES is organising a fundraiser through a crowdfunding campaign open to "all types of investors (as long as they are of age), from €15 to €100,000," on 30/06/2022. MCES aims to raise €800,000 by the end of July 2022. "To date, 44 investors have already bought into the project, with a total of €433,000 raised," said MCES.

"MCES is once again demonstrating its ability to innovate, as this is the first time in France that an esports structure has opened its capital to the general public. Unlike a classic crowdfunding, this is a real investment in MCES with the possibility of becoming a shareholder," said the Marseille-based esports organisation founded by Sandra and Romain Sombret in 2018.

"The funds raised will be used to strengthen the business development team and to improve the online platform facilitating the wide deployment of the MCES concept: training of coaches, animation programmes, standard commercial offers, etc.," explained the structure specialised in amateur and professional esports and training.
