Premier Padel: Canal+ acquires broadcasting rights in 64 countries including France until 2026

Canal+ has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier Padel circuit in 64 countries, including France, until 2026, announced the pay and free-TV group on 05/07/2022. This new professional circuit, launched in 2022, is supported by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Qatar Sports Investments (QSI).

"The circuit offers at least 10 tournaments including four Majors in 2022 and 2023, then more than 20 tournaments including four Majors from 2024. First appointment for Premier Padel on Canal+ channels with the Greenweez Paris Premier Padel Major 2022 at Roland-Garros from 10 to 17/07/2022. Subscribers will be able to follow the competition from the Round of 16," said Canal+.

The pay-TV group beIN Media Group initially held exclusive broadcasting rights to Premier Padel in 37 countries including France, as well as in the Middle East and North Africa, Asia-Pacific, the United States, Canada and Turkey for the year 2022. The new agreement with Canal+ puts an end to the broadcasting of the circuit by beIN Media Group in France.
