Running: Asics partners with Zwift to offer a connected experience with brand ambassadors

Asics has launched a collaboration with global online training and competition platform Zwift to offer the "Asics Pro Series", an online training programme led by the Japanese equipement manufacturer's athlete ambassadors, on 05/07/2022.

The programme, which will run from 20/06 to 15/07/2022, complements the launch of Asics' new "Metaspeed Edge+" range. Users will be able to train with their own avatars and unlock digital versions of the "Metaspeed Edge+" range (t-shirts, shorts and running shoes).

"Zwift works by connecting to fitness equipment such as footpods, Bluetooth treadmills that allow your actual physical activity to power your in-game avatar and share with a growing and highly engaged community of runners," said Asics.

• Zwift has become the principal partner of the Women's Tour de France for its first edition which will start on 24/07/2022 from the Champs-Élysées (Paris, FRA).
