68,781 spectators attended England - Austria (1-0, Group A), the opening match of the Women's Euro 2022, at Old Trafford in Greater Manchester (ENG) on Wednesday 06/07/2022, improving on the previous attendance record for a Women's Euro match, set nine years ago (41,301 spectators for Germany - Norway, 1-0, in the final of the 2013 edition, at the Friends Arena in Solna, SWE, on 28/07/2013).
