Women's Euro: Netherlands, Germany, England, most followed teams on their dedicated social networks

The Netherlands (606,040 followers), Germany (558,562 followers) and England (547,654 followers) top the ranking of the 16 Women's Euro 2022 teams according to their popularity on social media (cumulative fans on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok), according to data collected by News Tank Football as of 11/07/2022, which only takes into account official accounts exclusively dedicated to the women's teams.

England dominate on Instagram (347,445 followers), Germany on Facebook (338,347 followers) and the Netherlands on Twitter (123,893 followers).

Five nations have a dedicated women's team account on three platforms (Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Spain and Italy), with another five on two (England, France, Denmark, Norway and Switzerland). Finland, in 11^th place, is the only team to have an account dedicated to its women's team on all four social networks. By contrast, Portugal, Northern Ireland and Iceland use joint official accounts for the men's and women's teams.
