Europa Conference League: AS Roma share the trophy with fans in the Italian capital

AS Roma (Serie A TIM), winner of the first ever edition of the Europa Conference League on 25/06/2022 (1-0 victory over Feyenoord Rotterdam, Eredivisie), has decided to share the trophy with its fans by organising several events in the city of Rome (ITA) since the end of the 2021-22 season, according to the club on 12/07/2022.

Throughout the month of June 2022, the cup has been touring the Italian capital so that fans can admire it up close. "The club organised five events in as many municipalities with the aim of thanking the community for showing, in the previous months, all its support for the implementation of sustainability and solidarity activities in the area, collaborating on several occasions with the club itself on initiatives such as the Covid-19 vaccination campaign, plantings for the City and its support for the disabled," said AS Roma to News Tank Football.

The initiative ended with the presentation of the trophy to some special season ticket holders: the oldest (96 years old) and the youngest (5 years old) who were surprised by a visit from the club at their homes. 30…
