Stade de France incidents/Senate report: "There were a series of malfunctions" (L. Lafon)

"There were a series of malfunctions around the Stade de France on 28/05/2022. No one felt responsible. Everyone was in their own lane without any authority taking the necessary decisions. These malfunctions occurred at all stages: before the event, during and after," said Laurent Lafon (centrist), president of the Senate's Committee on Culture, Education and Communication, upon the presentation of the French Senate's report on the incidents surrounding the UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool FC (Premier League) and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) (0-1), on 13/07/2022.

The report, which was voted for unanimously by the two committees concerned, namely the Law and Culture committees, just before its public presentation, contains 15 recommendations (see below), each of which is addressed to one or more stakeholders (seven aimed at the FFF, seven at the French State and five at UEFA).
