Manchester United could play more friendly matches abroad to replace Champions League revenue

Manchester United ( Barclays Premier League), having not qualified for the 2014-15 Champions League after finishing seventh in the Premier League in 2013-14, could participate in additional friendly matches abroad to replace the revenue from competition, said Richard Arnold, the managing director the club, on 29/09/2014.

"That's (international friendlies) something we continue to look at, as always making sure that the preparations we do on the pitch come first,'' the club leader told the Associated Press. Clubs in the Middle East would be interested to host Manchester United, according to several British media outlets on 29/09/2014.
