Bundesliga: FSV Mainz achieve record turnover of €76.7m in 2013-14 (+ 11.76%)

1. FSV Mainz 05 (Bundesliga) achieved a record turnover of €76.7m for the 2013-14 season, the club announced at the general meeting of its society members on 29/09/2014. These figure increased €8.3m (up 11.76%) compared to 2012-13 (€68.4m).

The club recorded a net profit of €5m. "FSV Mainz 05 is synonymous with economic and sporting development in the long term," said Harald Strutz, president of the club, on 29/09/2014. "The economic and financial results of the past year validate our philosophy," he added.

  • FSV Mainz finished 7th in the 2013-14 Bundesliga, and the club has a budget of €73.9m for the 2014-15 season, an increase of €1.9m (2.64%) compared to the 2013- 14 budget (€72m).
    • €24.6m of the 2014-15 budget (33%) is allocated to payroll. This is an increase of 7.9% from 2013-14 (€22.8m, 31.6% of the budget).
  • Including subsidiaries of the club, the consolidated turnover of FSV Mainz reached €78.7m for the 2013-14 season.
