"I have decided not to run for FIFA, I've decided not to run for UEFA, I've decided not to run for the FFF, I have decided not to run for FIFPro. It's a decision I took a long time ago, but I wanted to say it with my head held high, not under the weight of an accusation," said Michel Platini, former UEFA president (2007-2015) in an interview with LCI, TF1 group's 24-hour news channel, on 15/07/2022.
