FC Girondins de Bordeaux: "Court decision on 19/07, hearing at the CNOSF on 21/07/2022" (G. Lopez)

"We went to the Commercial Court in Bordeaux (Gironde, FRA) this Friday (15/07/2022). We will have the court's decision on Tuesday (19/07/2022), then the conciliation hearing (with the FFF) at the CNOSF will take place on Thursday 21/07/2022 (at 14:00 CET)," said Gérard Lopez, president and owner of FC Girondins de Bordeaux, during a press conference at the club's headquarters in Le Haillan, in the company of Thomas Jacquemier, the club's deputy CEO, and Laurent Cotret, a lawyer associated with the August Debouzy law firm.

The club referred the matter to the French National Olympic and Sport Committee after the DNCG and then the Federation pronounced its administrative relegation to National 1. Two conciliators, including Philippe Missika, president of the conciliators' conference, have been appointed by the CNOSF, according to the French regional daily Sud-Ouest.

The FFF's appeals committee confirmed on 05/07/2022 the DNCG's decision (14/06/2022) to relegate FC Girondins de Bordeaux, already relegated to the Ligue 2 BKT, to the National 1 for 2022-23.
