Premier League: Tom Glick appointed as Chelsea FC's president of business

Tom Glick has been appointed as president of business at Chelsea FC (Premier League) on 18/07/2022.

"Glick will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations at Chelsea FC, including managing its global commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, enhancing fan engagement, and creating exceptional experiences for the club's fans," explained the London club.

Tom Glick, has 30 years of experience in sports marketing and operations:
• Before joining Chelsea, the American was the president of NFL franchise the Carolina Panthers between 2018 and 2022.
• "He also oversaw the creation of Major League Soccer's Charlotte FC, which Chelsea FC will face on 21/07/202 as part of the club's US tour of friendly fixtures."
• Tom Glick was also the chief commercial officer of City Football Group between 2016 and 2018, having previously served as president of affiliate club New York City FC (MLS, 2015-2016) and COO of Manchester City FC (Premier League, 2012-2015).
