FC Girondins de Bordeaux: Commercial Court approves the agreement between the club and its creditors

"The Specialised Commercial Court of Bordeaux has approved the conciliation agreement between FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and its creditors (the American investment funds King Street and Fortress), by judgment of 19/07/2022," announced the club the same day.

"Under the terms of this judgment, in perfect agreement with the Public Prosecutor's requisitions, the Court found that FC Girondins de Bordeaux is not in a state of cessation of payments and that the terms of the agreement ensure the club's sustainability in the context of its maintenance in Ligue 2 BKT, with the various measures enabling the club to have a positive cash flow until June 2023," said the French club.

"This judicial decision will be a central element in the conciliation procedure conducted by the CNOSF on Thursday 21/07/2022 (at 14:00 CET)," added FC Girondins de Bordeaux: "The court has, through this decision, confirmed the current and future financial solidity of the club.
