Villarreal CF: partnership with LAF Kuwait (football academy) to develop training in Kuwait

Villarreal CF (LaLiga Santander), as part of their Villarreal Academy international expansion project, have entered into a partnership with LAF Kuwait (La Academia de Fútbol), an academy for young male and female players based in Kuwait, announced the club on 15/07/2022.

The academy, which was founded in July 2021, has around 200 youngsters aged between 4 and 18, trained by UEFA-certified coaches, and has, among other things, an 11-a-side football pitch that can be divided into three 5-a-side football pitches. LAF Kuwait will work with Villarreal to "implement the Yellows' innovative methodology for the development of its players and coaches, receiving technical and managerial support as part of the collaboration," said the Spanish club.

"The collaboration between Villarreal CF and LAF Kuwait will provide unrivalled opportunities for players and coaches from Kuwait with selected players having the chance to visit Villarreal CF in Spain to take part in the Player Training Week and Team Playing Experience, in which they train with or play against Villarreal's youth teams…
