Video games: Kylian Mbappé (PSG) to feature on the cover of "FIFA" (EA Sports) for the 3^rd time

Kylian Mbappé, a French player playing for Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), will appear on the cover of the FIFA 23 video game, announced the American publisher EA Sports on 19/07/2022.

"Paris Saint-Germain striker and global football icon Kylian Mbappé graces the cover for the third year in a row, making him one of a select few to earn that status. At just 23 years old, Mbappé is one of the sport's brightest young stars on and off the pitch, representing the best of a new generation of phenomenal footballing talent," said the sports video game publisher.

EA Sports is using the image of the player, who counts 96 million followers on social networks (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), on the cover of its flagship game for the third consecutive time. FIFA 22 was the best-selling video game in France in 2021 (1.592 million units sold for a turnover of €96.6m).

• EA Sport is also a premium partner of Paris Saint Germain (second level) for the 2019-2024 cycle. The publisher has been partnered with the Parisian club since 2011.
