Eleven Sports: Massimo D'Amario appointed managing director for Belgium and Luxembourg

Massimo D'Amario has been appointed as managing director of the audiovisual group Eleven Sports for Belgium and Luxembourg, according to his Linkedin account on 19/07/2022. D'Amario succeeds Guillaume Collard, who was appointed CEO of RTL Belgium on 12/04/2022.

"Massimo D’Amario joined the Eleven family in 2019, on the eve of the tender for the rights of the Jupiler Pro League. Previously, he was managing director of ProximusMediahouse (PMH, a subsidiary of the operator Belgian telecommunications company Proximus). Massimo held the role of head of business development at Eleven for two years. Last year, he was appointed head of acquisitions (media rights) of the Eleven Group. In this capacity, he also continued to provide full support to the development of the Eleven business in Belgium and Luxembourg," explained Eleven.

Massimo D'Amario will be responsible for the joint venture 12th Player, created by Eleven Sports and the Spanish audiovisual group Mediapro. This company manages the media rights of the Jupiler Pro League.
