France 2023: Legends (service provider) named official retail partner for the Rugby World Cup

Legends, an American service provider (global planning, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, and technology solutions), has been named as the "official retail partner and operator" for the Rugby World Cup France (from 08/09 to 28/10/2023), announced World Rugby on 20/07/2022. The partnership was concluded through IMG (Endeavor), the commercial agency for the international body.

"The pinnacle event in the men's fifteens game will build on the phenomenal spectator, media and commercial success of Japan 2019 where Legends served as the official retail partner and operator," said World Rugby.

"Legends will operate all the official retail stores for Rugby World Cup 2023 in venues and celebration areas located within the host cities. Two flagship stores in Paris and Marseille are also set to open in August 2023," explained the body.

The New York-based agency is also the official distributor of licensed merchandise for Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), Liverpool FC (Premier League), Wimbledon (Grand Slam, tennis) and the Rugby Football Union.
